Abolore Solebo is a result and leadership-driven Corporate and Investment Banking professional with over 22 years of experience. Since October 2021, he has successfully served as the Head, Corporate Bank Directorate in Fidelity Bank Nigeria. In this leadership role, he has oversight of the bank’s Corporate Bank and Private Bank/Wealth Management business consisting of 6 Divisions made up of 50 Staff. He oversees a N582 billion loan portfolio which represents approximately 30% of Fidelity Bank’s N1.9 Trillion loan book as of June 30, 2022.

Abolore is known for his people skills and ability to deliver strong business values. He is a pivotal resource person in Fidelity Bank’s long-range strategic planning and operational policies formulation through membership in various Standing and Ad hoc Committees. In addition, he has worked synergistically with three successive CEOs of Fidelity bank Plc as an integral part of senior management that delivered the extraordinary growth of the bank in recent years. He has received several awards at Fidelity Bank Nigeria.

He holds an MBA from the prestigious London Business School (UK), an MSc in Financial Management and Economics (Middlesex University, UK), and a BSc degree in Accounting. His pedigree has enriched his credibility in business circles, extended the frontiers of his professional network, and primed him to take on more challenging multidisciplinary leadership roles. Additionally, he is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and currently serves as the Events Coordinator of The Energy Institute UK (Nigeria Branch).

Abolore enjoys playing soccer and other light-hearted competitions outside of work, reinforcing his philosophy that teammates have to work cooperatively and at a fast pace, or the entire team loses. He also enjoys mentoring other aspiring leaders in his local community (Lagos, Nigeria) and others within his sphere of influence.
